Big wins all round for those that played!

Watton Ladies (1) 5-1 Ipswich Ladies (2)

Scorers: Jas Vincent 3, Jemma Jackson, Emma Lake

The game started off with an early goal from Jasmine Vincent giving Watton an early advantage. Both teams showed good distribution and leading runs into the attacking areas. A second goal was scored from a reverse stick shot again from Jasmine Vincent making the score 2-0. Good defending skills from Rachel Kittell, Tamika Bustin and Amy Childerhouse throughout the game and Watton were unfortunate to concede a goal scored by Ipswich making the half time score 2-1. The second half started off with high intensity with both teams battling out to seek victory. Helen Winter playing some outstanding balls to the attacking end where Lauren Smith continued to make some successful baseline entries. Watton went on to score another 3 more goals within some tactical gameplay! A great win for Watton!

Watton Ladies (2) 3-1 Reepham Ladies (1)

Scorers: Imogen Walker 2, Sarah Beck

Watton's 2's performances this season have deserved so much more than some of the results they have got but this week it finally all came good. Watton's young side moved the ball at pace, closed down their opponents' midfield, defended stoutly and attacked at speed. Watton took an early lead when Sian Evans (who was a constant threat to Reepham) saw her goal bound shot saved by the keeper only for Imogen Walker to follow up and stab the ball home. Watton's play was scintillating at times and they threatened to run away with the game but Reepham held on, and, if not for Lissy Gregory in Watton's goal making a great save, Reepham could of easily equalised.

Reepham stepped up their game at the start of the second half as Watton struggled to settle, but then Watton's young guns regained their momentum and stretched their lead with and fantastic penalty corner strike from Sarah Beck. Imogen, clearly enjoying her switch to right wing, scored her second to make it 3-0. Reepham pulled back a goal late in the game through Katie Lake. A great win for the Ladies, next week a home tie against Dereham 4s.

Watton Ladies (3) 0-3 Evergreens (2)

Conceded Loss

Sadly there was a high amount of player unavailability this Saturday, can't think why, its only 10:00 at Greshams!!!! So the Ladies 3s had to cancel, louse 3-0- and 3 points. They play Herlings at home next Saturday.

Watton Mens (1) 11-1 Norwich Exiles (1)

Scores: Simon Jones 4, Henry Garner 3, Daniel Rix 2, Steven Gale, Sean Billington

Watton went into the game confident off the back of last weeks win against Bury. They soon went 2-0 before 11 manned Exiles pulled a goal from a PC, the pace and legs of Watton however was too much as the score rose to 4-1 by the break. Exiles went down to 10 men due to an injury and Watton made full use of this knocking in a further 7 goals to make it into another clinical win. The win moves them above the Exiles into 5th place, 6 points behind 2nd placed Thetford.

Watton Mens (2) 5-0 Ipswich Cranes (2)

Conceded Win

Watton Mens 2s for the 2nd week in a row picked up 3 points as there opposition once again cancelled. This week it was Ipswich Cranes who couldn't raise a team as the 2s won 5-0. They are now 5th in the table 4 points of 2nd in a tight Division 7NE.
